David Murphy’s handmade metal spheres are available in brass, corten steel and painted mild steel. Spherical or ellipsoid in shape, they are 0.4m to 2m in size. The handmade metal garden spheres can have specially designed elements specific to the client, such as flowers and butterflies found in their own gardens, or animals such as owls or hares.
Handmade in the Cotswolds, UK, David Murphy’s sculptures are in situ across the world, with recent commissions being exported to North America and Europe. As well as being popular for private homes and gardens, the handmade metal garden spheres are especially well suited to public commission as they are able to retain the artistic form whilst incorporating specific details and images.
